Ambition 2005

Charlie started riding seriously at the age of twelve when she got her own horse and started keeping it at home. Her first exposure to competition came soon after with regular wins in unaffiliated show jumping at Richmond Equestrian Centre on a weekly basis through out that first winter.

The following spring saw her  try her hand at dressage and then through the Zetland Hunt Pony Club, she tried her first One Day Event, a combination of dressage, show jumping & cross country at the Pony Club Area competitions at Houghall Agricultural Collage.

Once was enough to get her hooked and she waited eagerly till the year of her fourteenth birthday when she was allowed to compete in British Eventing Competitions.

 2004 was her first season eventing and she enjoyed her outings. The horses proved themselves very able over jumps and trainable on the flat, Charlie was very pleased with her season and achieved many of the years goals. 2005 is a year to build and hopefully compete successfully at junior regional novice level.
